This Privacy Policy explains how HTTZ ("we", "us") handles information in connection with our website and the video and content-operations services we provide to businesses in the media & entertainment industry.
1. Information we handle
Website visitors
When you visit httz.ai, our hosting provider processes basic technical information (such as IP address and request metadata) to serve the site securely and prevent abuse. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send.
Customer content
To provide our services, we process the video and catalogue content that a Customer gives us access to, along with derived material we generate from it (for example clips, trailers, key art, subtitles, and advertising cue points). This content belongs to the Customer; we process it only to provide the services and at the Customer's direction.
Connected platform accounts
When a Customer connects a third-party account (such as YouTube or TikTok), we store the authorisation tokens needed to act on that account, and we record an audit log of the actions taken (for example which item was posted, to which account, and its visibility).
2. How we use information
- to operate, secure, and provide the services;
- to generate the drafts and proposals a Customer requests from their own content;
- to publish or post content only when an authorised operator of the Customer approves it;
- to keep an audit trail of operator actions; and
- to respond to enquiries and support requests.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use content or connected-account data for advertising targeting or to train models for unrelated purposes.
3. YouTube API Services
Features that publish to or manage YouTube use YouTube API Services. By using those features you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
With the Customer's authorisation, HTTZ uses YouTube API Services to:
- upload the Customer's approved videos to the Customer's own channel;
- attach subtitle/caption tracks to those uploads;
- read back and manage the visibility of items HTTZ created; and
- remove items HTTZ created, at the Customer's request.
We store the minimum YouTube authorisation data needed for these actions and retain the audit record of what was posted. You can review or revoke HTTZ's access to your Google account at any time through the Google security settings page. If you revoke access, HTTZ can no longer act on your YouTube account and the stored authorisation becomes unusable.
4. TikTok
Features that publish to TikTok use TikTok's official developer APIs, subject to TikTok's developer and platform terms. With the Customer's authorisation, HTTZ uploads approved videos to the connected account. Posts are created privately / for the account owner's review unless the owner explicitly makes them public. We store the authorisation needed to perform the upload and an audit record of the action.
5. Sharing
We share information only with:
- infrastructure and hosting providers that run the services on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations;
- the third-party platforms a Customer chooses to connect (such as YouTube and TikTok), to carry out the actions the Customer directs; and
- authorities where required by law.
6. Retention
We keep Customer content and connected-account authorisations for as long as needed to provide the services, and audit records for as long as needed for accountability and legal compliance. Heavy media outputs are subject to a finite retention window; audit manifests are retained separately. When an account is closed or access is revoked, we delete or de-identify the associated data unless we are required to retain it.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege handling of connected-account credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Customers can disconnect a platform account at any time, and account owners can revoke HTTZ's access directly with the platform (for YouTube, via Google security settings). To make a request, contact us at the address below.
9. International transfers
We may process information in countries other than where you are located. Where we do, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
